You can get hold of your test results in various convenient ways:
- By checking the NHS App (register here and request online access for results, or contact Reception to activate this option). Make sure you have the NHS App notifications turned on. Reviewed results will also show comments from the healthcare team.
- By AccurX Triage – please click here to request.
- By telephone – please call Reception after 10:30am. Most results can be shared by the admin team after review by the healthcare team.
Depending on the result, there may be no action required or you may, for example, be asked to adjust your medication, collect a prescription or make an appointment to speak to a clinician.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice, this is usually 7 days. Click here for the practice Test Results Patient Information leaflet.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you are advised to do so, however rest assured, if your results are concerning we will contact you directly so please keep your contact details up to date.
