If possible, please contact Reception before 10am if you feel you may require a home visit and they will arrange a telephone appointment.

A doctor or nurse will phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a district nurse, home care team or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability and who live within our catchment area.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Surgery.

Out of area patients

For patients who are registered with us but live outside our catchment area, we are not able to provide home visits ourselves however we have an agreement with surgeries across the country to enable you to be visited if necessary. Please call the practice and we will direct you to local care services that can assist you.
