Checking your vaccination record
Vaccinations given by the NHS in England are held in your GP record, and the quickest way to see them is the NHS App. Open the app and choose Vaccinations. The feature is not available to every user — if you cannot see it, the details may appear under your appointment notes instead.
Your COVID-19 vaccination record
COVID-19 doses appear in the same place: Vaccinations, then COVID-19 vaccinations. Your record may look incomplete if a dose was given in the last five working days and has not been added yet, or if you were vaccinated outside England, privately, or as part of a clinical trial.
The NHS COVID Pass that people used for international travel in 2021 and 2022 has been withdrawn. If you need to show your vaccination status for a trip, check what your destination actually asks for before you travel — most countries no longer require it.
If a vaccination is missing or wrong
For a recent COVID-19 dose, contact the pharmacy or vaccination site that gave it and ask them to correct the record. For older vaccinations, or anything given abroad or privately, contact the practice and we can look at adding it to your GP record.
Proof for travel, a visa or a new employer
For most purposes a screenshot or printout from the NHS App is enough. If you have been asked for something more formal, get in touch and tell us exactly what the organisation requires.
Getting vaccinated
Flu. We run seasonal flu clinics at the practice for everyone eligible on the NHS.
COVID-19. Vaccination for eligible groups is delivered through local pharmacies and the national booking service rather than at the surgery.
