Register From Anywhere in London
Binfield Road Surgery is an “Open” NHS GP practice in Stockwell. This means we are happy to register patients from anywhere in London — you do not need to live within our traditional boundary to join us. You will have full access to our appointments, digital services, and clinics at the surgery.
We currently serve patients across Stockwell, Brixton, Clapham, Vauxhall, and Oval, but welcome registrations from any London postcode.
The Home Visit Boundary
While you can register from anywhere, we are clinically unable to provide Home Visits to patients who live outside our specific catchment area.
Our Home Visit Boundary covers: Stockwell (SW4), and parts of Clapham North, Vauxhall, Oval, and Brixton (parts of SW8, SW9, SE11). Please note we cover parts of these postcodes, not all areas within them.

Out-of-Area Patients
If you choose to register with us but live outside the boundary listed above, you will be registered as an “Out-of-Area Patient.” All other services — appointments, prescriptions, test results, and access to our clinics — are fully available to you.
If you need a Home Visit: You must call NHS 111. They will direct you to a local service or visiting doctor in your area.
If you are permanently housebound: We strongly recommend registering with a GP surgery closer to your home for consistent care from District Nurses and Community Matrons.
Accessible & Inclusive Healthcare
Our practice is located immediately behind Stockwell Tube Station (Victoria and Northern lines) with step-free access, a ramp at the main entrance, and a lift to all clinical floors. You do not need proof of address, ID, or immigration documents to register. Everyone is entitled to NHS care.
