We understand that housing issues can be very stressful. However, the Council’s Housing Department has told us that they do not consider letters from GPs when deciding on housing applications or banding reviews. Because of this, we are not able to write letters to support these requests.
We can give you a short summary of your medical records, which includes important current and past health issues. You’re welcome to share this summary with the housing department yourself.
We cannot comment directly on your housing situation or how it affects your health unless this is already recorded in your medical notes. If the Housing Department needs more medical information, they will contact us directly.
