New flooring being fitted in line with infection control guidelines

Audits carried out as per infection prevention guidelines. Example of these audits include handwashing, Legionella, waste management, sharps. Dependant on the result will determine when they next audit is carried out.

Clinicians are to complete an end of day cleaning checklist to show they are cleaning equipment and their room in between patients and at the end of their session. The cleaning company also records their actions daily.

The cleaning company also carries out regular audits to ensure high standards are being met.

a. Infection transmission incidents (significant events)

Significant events involve examples of good practice as well as challenging events.
